Pricing questions
- Do I have to replace my ERP?
- No. MarginGuard sits beside JobBOSS², E2, Epicor, Global Shop, ProShop, or a spreadsheet. You export job costs to CSV or Excel and import them; your ERP stays the system of record.
- Can I try it before paying?
- Yes. New accounts start in a trial workspace. You can import your own job-cost CSV or load the clearly labeled demo shop before choosing a plan.
- What data do I need to get value on day one?
- A job-cost export with job number, revenue, and estimated and actual cost for each job. Labor, setup, burden, material, and outside processing broken out separately gives the most useful variance view. See the free job costing templates if you are starting from a spreadsheet.
- What is the difference between Core and Pro?
- Core covers import, the factory dashboard, job profitability, and customer views. Pro adds quote accuracy tracking, opportunities, savings tracking, and alerts, which is where most shops find repeat overruns.
- How is billing handled?
- Billing is monthly through Stripe and is separate from FactoryEdgeAI and Machine Monitor. You can change or cancel your plan from the billing settings in the app.
- Is a live ERP integration required?
- No. CSV and Excel import is the supported path on every plan. There is no agent to install and no write-back into your ERP.
